Administrative Tribunals

Administrative tribunals are an independent agency responsible for settling disputes between parties in a less formal courtroom setting or by an adjudicator. Tribunals cover a range of areas such as landlord/tenant disputes, human rights violations, employment and labour issues, as well as commercial and other activities.

Some common tribunals that clients need help navigating are Ontario Labour Relations Board, Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal, Pay Equity Hearings Tribunal, Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and Ontario's Landlord and Tenant Board.

The S. K. Pickens Law team can represent individuals, commercial corporations, not-for-profit organization, associations and unions before an administrative tribunal. Many tribunals have their own sets of rules, procedures and timelines, so it's important that you consult us to assist you with the process.
